The Hancock girls’ basketball team held Parkers Prairie to 12 points on Thursday in a 59-12 road win. The Panthers shot just 11.4% (4/35) from the field, while the Owls shot 44% (25-57). Hancock was dominant on the boards, winning the rebounding battle 49-15 with 16 offensive rebounds.
Misti Zempel led the Owls with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Carlee Hanson had 13 points, 5 steals, 5 assists and 4 rebounds, and Kaitlyn Rohloff added 12 points, 7 boards, 5 steals and 4 assists. Tori Pahl secured 9 rebounds.
The Owls had 16 steals in the game and assisted on 16 of their 25 made field goals.
Hancock is now 7-0 as they prepare to host Battle Lake on Tuesday.
