Badger-Greenbush-Middle River captured the Valhalla Division championship at the Minnesota National Bank Girls’ Basketball Holiday Classic on Thursday as they defeated the host Pelican Rapids Vikings by the score of 58-39. With the game tied at 32-32, BGMR closed things out by ending the game with a 26-7 run.
Leading the Vikings were Kelsey Isaman (10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals), Morgan Korf (10 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals) and Ellie Welch (5 rebounds).
Pelican Rapids (7-3) will play at Underwood on Tuesday and at Hawley on Thursday.
BGMR is 7-1 heading into the New Year.
