Alex was able to gain control of the game early, but the Spartans responded and kept things close throughout the half. The Cards would make a couple runs in the 2nd half to create some separation, but Rocori responded each time to shrink that margin. Alex would hold on and secure the CLC and section 8AAA win.

The Cards are back in action on Wednesday, December 29th in the Granite City Breakdown as they play Princeton at St. Cloud State.
