Brandon-Evansville played in the Kimball Boys Holiday Basketball Tournament over the weekend, losing to Mora 57-52 and beating PACT Charter 88-44.

“We got down early on Friday night against Mora, trailing 23-3,” said B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister.  “Shots weren’t falling for us in the first half.  We battled all night and cut their lead to 32-24 by halftime.  We climbed back to get the score to 55-52 with 15 seconds left.  Mora earned the win and it was a fun game to be a part of.”

Dezmond White poured in 26 points to lead the Chargers.  Titus Fuller and Tyler Bitzan scored 13 and 10 points, respectively.

White led four players in double figures on Saturday night, scoring 23 points.  Bitzan added 19, Fuller 16 and Micah Fuller 10.

“Saturday night we came out ready to go,” said Coach Hintermeister.  “I thought we set the tempo and had great energy on both sides of the ball.  We built a 57-19 halftime lead and were able to get all 14 guys in the game tonight.  It was fun to see everyone get some playing time.  Dezmond White was on fire this weekend.  It was fun to watch him.  We had multiple players play big minutes and do it well.  Tyler Bitzan recorded two more double-doubles on the season, which has become a typical night for him.”

Brandon-Evansville (3-2) will participate in the Lakeview High School Holiday Tournament on December 29 and 30.
