The Pelican Rapids Vikings recorded their fifth straight win on Tuesday night as they faced DGF in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference girls’ basketball contest. The Vikings led by a slim 21-19 halftime margin, but outscored the Rebels 26-17 over the final 18 minutes to post a 47-36 victory.
Kelsey Isaman just missed a double-double with 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the lady Vikings. Sophia Paulson added 12 points, 3 assists and 3 steals, while Ellie Welch snared 9 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. Morgan Korf had a team high 7 assists on the night.
Pelican Rapids (5-1) has another HOL Conference contest on Friday when they head to Perham to face the 4-1 Yellowjackets.
