The Rothsay boys’ basketball team suffered a 76-63 loss to Park Rapids Area on Tuesday night despite 30 points from Chris Carrillo.  The Tigers had a 42-36 lead at the half but were held to just 21 second half points while the Panthers scored 40 points over the last 18 minutes of play.

"It was a great night of basketball with an amazing crowd and atmosphere at Bill Rose Gymnasium,” stated Rothsay Head Coach Taylor Fuhs.  “We really competed the entire way, but we got tired at the end of the game and gave up some easy baskets and couldn't finish on our end.  Really proud of our boys in how they played."

Tanner Heier ended up with 14 points for the Tigers.

Rothsay (3-3) will travel to Audubon next Monday night to face the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders in a non-conference contest.
