Brandon-Evansville opened their home season with a 70-62 boys’ basketball victory over Upsala on Monday night.

The Chargers were led by 23 points from Titus Fuller and 11 from Tyler Bitzan.  Three other Chargers, Lucas Fuller, Dezmond White and Riley Perleberg each contributed 10 points.

“I was pleased with our guys finishing the game even though we didn’t close the way we could have,” commented B-E Head coach Trent Hintermeister.  “Upsala has a great player in Levi Lampert.  He was dynamite tonight, scoring 31 for the Cardinals.  Brady Perleberg did a nice job on Levi when they were locked up with one another.  We got up big early and kept the lead throughout the game.”

The Chargers will go to the Kimball Holiday Tournament on Friday and Saturday.  Mora, Kimball and PACT Charter are the other schools involved.
