The Cardinals utilized excellent defensive energy to take control of the game early. Early shooting woes denied Alex opportunities to extend their lead in the first 6 minutes of the game. Continued unselfish play and ball control provided quality shots which eventually began to fall for the Cards. Alex entered the break with a 20-point advantage. The 2nd half proved to be much of the same as Alex would maintain its fight and execution consistently.

The Cards are back in action as they travel to Willmar on Tuesday for a Central Lakes Conference contest.
