Perham Girls Defeat Frazee 63-24

It was a balanced offense that came alive in the second half as the Perham girls’ basketball team cruised to a 63-24 victory over the Frazee Hornets at the Hive on December 9. After a struggle in the first half, Perham outscored the Hornets 43-12 in the second half, cruising to the home win.

Greta Hillukka led the Yellowjackets with 18 points, while Kennedy Pilgrim finished with 10 points. They were the only Yellowjackets in double digits. Perham had 10 players’ record points.

Kate Vigen led the Hornets with seven points, while Brynn Larson added five.

The Yellowjackets improved to 3-1 overall on the season and 2-0 in the Heart O' Lakes Conference. The Yellowjackets are back in action on December 14 when they take on Fergus Falls on the road.
