“Our girls really played hard tonight,” said Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier. “The girls moved the ball well, creating shots for open teammates. It was a back and forth game throughout, which created a great atmosphere for high school basketball. We learned a lot about how to handle close game situations. I’m proud of their effort.”
The Tigers were led by Kenadi Carlsrud (33 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists), Savannah Sullivan (15 points, 4 assists) and Summer Wigdahl (7 rebounds, 4 assists).
Rothsay (0-2) will host Battle Lake on Tuesday and Hillcrest on Thursday.
