Jason Sunde is in his second year as Head Coach of the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton girls’ basketball team. “We were a young group last season and we started to play well at the end of the year, especially defensively,” shared Coach Sunde. The Rebels ended up 3-13 overall and 2-10 in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference.
Senior Ashley Taves (F), and juniors Gabbee Tucker (G) and Peyton Backes (G) are the top returning players.
“We are still very young overall, but at least not everything is brand new in my second year,” noted Sunde. “We will have ups and downs with our youth, but our girls have positive attitudes and work hard.”
Coach Sunde sees Barnesville, Breckenridge, Hawley and Perham as the top contenders in the HOL, with Crookston added to the mix in the Section 8AA race.
