Underwood's Trevor Swonger won the individual title with a 75, Joel Quam of Hillcrest was second with an 84, Mitch Dewey 87, Marshall Dewey 89, Hudson Risbrudt of Underwood took 5th also with an 89 and Bryce Grabinski of Hillcrest took 6th with a 93.

“Pretty happy with how our guys played today,” commented Underwood Head Coach Chuck Ross. “The short game is still an issue but is getting better. Hudson (8th grader) tied for 4th but got 5th due to a scorecard playoff which is his first medal ever in a variety meet.  Jaxon Swonger (8th grader) scored below 100 on a course that is not very forgiving So that was nice to see. Trevor had another solid round and is off to a good start this season.”

WCA's winning team score was a 363 followed by Hillcrest 378, Ortonville 412, Pillager 435, Border West 456, Long Prairie-Browerville 580, Underwood, OTC, Rothsay and Ashby all had incomplete team scores.

WCA individual scores - Mi. Dewey 87, Ma. Dewey 89, Peyton Hanson 93, Grant Beuckens 94, Sam Hanson 110, and Devon Benson 111.

Knight Coach Kraig Hunter said, "As usual, all of the scores were a little higher at Thumper Pond Golf Course. It only takes a couple of bad shots to get a couple of double or triple bogeys which makes your score add up pretty quick.  Mitch and Marshall both did a nice job course management and keeping their golf balls in play to shoot some pretty decent scores for that course."
