Ellia Soydara claimed medalist honors with a round of 83 on Thursday at the Meadows in Moorhead, recording her first high school win as the Otter girls’ golf team finished second to Detroit Lakes with a score of 371. The Lakers won the team competition with a 355.
McKenna Mallow of DL was runner-up with an 85, followed by Adriana Dicky of Staples-Motley with an 86 and Annika Jyrkas of Fergus Falls with an 87.
Rounding out the Fergus Falls team scoring were Annie Mayer (100), Lexie Metcalf (101) and Thea Eklund (102).
