Madi Ballweg (21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists) and Mackenzie Foss (18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) led the Comets in the win.  Regan Wiertzema added 8 points and a team high 11 rebounds and Ella Knutson chipped in with 7 points and 7 rebounds.

“This was a great team win for us,” said Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark. “We moved the ball so well on the offensive end. Madi Ballweg and Mackenzie Foss scored in a variety of ways and it opened a lot of things up for other players. Regan Wiertzema played one of her best games of the season. She attacked the rebounds on both ends of the floor and she continues to take huge leaps in her defensive game. She's becoming more and more confident in her abilities and I'm really proud of her effort in tonight's game.”

Hillcrest (5-12) will play at Battle Lake on Friday.

Rothsay (2-14) is at Ashby on Thursday and will host Brandon/Evansville on Saturday.
