The Hancock girls’ basketball team remained unbeaten as they picked up a 49-44 road victory in Melrose on Monday night. The Owls led 23-17 at the half and had a 15 point lead at one time in the game.
Rylee Hanson was the high scorer for Hancock with 13 points. She also had 4 rebounds. Kaitlyn Staples added 9 points and 2 steals, Misti Zempel had 9 points and 3 steals, and Morgan Kisgen finished with 8 points. Tori Pahl snared a team high 8 rebounds and Carlee Hanson dished out 7 assists while coming up with 4 steals.
Hancock improved their season record to 12-0 with the win. They will travel to Brandon to face the Brandon-Evansville Chargers next Monday.
