Lady Owls Run Winning Streak to Six Games

The Hancock Owls controlled the game from the start on Tuesday night as they built a 42-21 halftime lead on the way to a 75-36 victory over Upsala in Hancock.  The lady Owls made 48.3% (29-60) of their field goal attempts in the game.

Carlee Hanson poured in 28 points, pulled down 6 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and came up with 3 steals.  Tori Pahl was also in double figures with 14 points.  Pahl snared 9 rebounds and had 3 steals.  Alexis Staples added 9 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists, and Kaitlyn Staples had 5 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.  Hancock made 29-of-58 (50%) shots from the floor.

Upsala shot just 27.5% (11/40) on the night.  The Owls held a 34-21 edge on the boards.

Hancock ran their winning streak to start the season to six games.  They will host Parkers Prairie in a Saturday afternoon contest.
