The Barnesville volleyball team traveled to Pelican Rapids for a Section 8AA first round playoff match against the Vikings on Wednesday night.  “We had just matched up with the Vikings a couple weeks ago and fell short in a back-and-forth 5-set battle,” noted Barnesville Head Coach Megan Askegaard.  “We knew that we were going to have to make a couple changes from the last time we played them in order to make sure we put up a fight with a strong Pelican Rapids team.”  The match went 4 sets this time around with the Vikings prevailing 25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 25-18).
