The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross boys basketball team traveled to Moorhead on Tuesday night where they lost a 62-60 overtime decision to Park Christian School. Each team scored 26 points in the first half and 28 points in the second half to end regulation knotted up at 54-54. The Falcons outscored the Warriors 8-6 in the extra period.
Tanner Brunsberg led the Falcons with 19 points, 5 coming in the overtime session, and Jonah Williams added a dozen. Allen Daugherty chipped in with 8 points.
Wheaton was led by Matt Thielen (27 points, 4 assists, 2 steals), Nick Lupkes (10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists) and Hunter Johnson (10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals). Christian Krump had a team high 13 rebounds, while adding 5 points and 2 assists.
