There will be a send-off at 2:50pm Wednesday in the Kennedy Secondary School Gold Gymnasium for Fergus Falls student-athletes who are heading to state competition in swimming and diving and in wrestling.

Swimmers Tyler Hansen, Will Pawlowski, Tristan Trosvig, Titus Seland and Sean Edman, and divers Caleb Neubauer and Evan Erlandson, and heavyweight wrestler Dustin Portales will all be recognized for qualifying for their respective state tournaments.

The Fergus Falls girls hockey team will also be honored at this event.  The Otters won the Class A State Girls Hockey Consolation Championship on Sunday in St. Paul, capping a 23-7 season.
