The Pelican Rapids girls basketball team ended the regular season on a 19 game winning streak with a 60-50 win over Perham on Friday night, improving their overall record to 24-1.
The Vikings led 29-20 at the half and placed four girls in double figures against the Yellowjackets. They were led by Greta Tollefson with 14 points and Adriana Torres with a dozen. Maddie Guler and Kaylie Isaman contributed 10 points apiece. Assist leaders were Torres with 4 and Tollefson with 3. Guler and Sarah Thompson led the team with 5 rebounds each and Guler also had a team high 3 steals.
Pelican Rapids received the top seed in the North half of Section 6A. They will open post season play with a home game Thursday night at 7:00pm against the winner of the Monday game between Rothsay and Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal.
