Four Game Winning Streak Ends for Trojans

The Barnesville boys basketball team saw their four game winning streak come to an end with a 68-57 loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Thursday night in Glyndon.

The Rebels were hot from the field, making 55% (24-43) of their total field goal attempts and 52% (9-17) of their three-pointers.  They also missed only one of twelve free throws.

 

Barnesville shot 42% (19-45) from the floor.  They were led by Sam Askegaard (14 points, 6 rebounds), Kellen Hinsz (13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals), Brooks Martinson (11 points, 5 steals, 2 assists) and Hunter Zenzen (10 points, 2 rebounds).  Adam Tonsfeldt was held to 5 points, but dished out 6 assists and came up with 2 steals.

 

The Trojans (15-7, 4-5 HOL) will play at Breckenridge at 2:30pm Saturday.
