Barnesville Boys Top Frazee at Concordia

The Barnesville boys basketball team scored the first ten points of their game against Frazee on Saturday at Concordia, built their halftime lead to 40-16 and went on to record a 67-51 win over the Hornets.

The Trojans shot 50% (28-55) from the field, led by Kellen Hinsz who finished 10-for-15 and led them with 24 points. Adam Tonsfeldt (16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals) and Hunter Zenzen (12 points, 8 rebounds) also contributed double digit scoring.

“Our hot start propelled us to the win today,” said Barnesville Assistant Coach Tracy Hinsz. “This was a great all around team win.”

Barnesville (13-6) has a busy week ahead, hosting Crookston on Monday night, playing at Battle Lake on Tuesday, traveling to Glyndon on Thursday and then to Breckenridge on Saturday.
