Alexa Mortenson came off the bench and contributed 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Sydney Hovland scored 8 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and distributed 3 assists. Olivia Winfrey chipped in with 8 points.
M State shot 38% (23-61) from the floor and made 30.4% (7-23) of their 3-pointers.
The Cyclones shot 35% (18-51) for the day. Kiara Coops recorded a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds). Shania Nahring was their leading scorer with 18 points and Rachel Vreeland finished with 10 points. Maria Stokes grabbed 8 rebounds for St. Cloud.
"We did what we needed to get a win on the road," said Head Coach Janice Hendrickson of M State. "It was a very physical game and we were able to play through some challenges."
M State (10-13, 4-6 MCAC South) will play at Rochester on Wednesday night and will close out their regular season by hosting Western Technical College on Saturday afternoon.
