Karley Motschenbacher had a monster game for the Park Christian Falcons, scoring 38 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and coming up with 9 steals to pace the Falcons to a 58-52 win over the Rockets in Underwood on Friday night. The loss snapped a nine game Underwood winning streak and puts the Rockets at 18-3 on the year.
"We had trouble containing a very good player," commented Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland. "The second half we gave ourselves a chance when we cut their double digit lead to two points with two-and-a-half minutes left. We battled, but came up short."
Leaders for Underwood were Kayla Rocholl (20 points, 6 steals), Ally Johnson(11 points, 10 rebounds) and Morgan Evavold (7 points, 10 rebounds).
Underwood will play at Pelican Rapids on Tuesday night.
