Cresap Hits 6 of 9 3's as Yellowjackets Keep Rolling

The Perham boys basketball took a 41-18 halftime lead on the way to a 69-51 victory over Holy Family Catholic on Saturday afternoon, winning their eighteenth straight game and improving their season record to 19-1.

 

Perham hit 50% (10-20) of their three-pointers and shot 49% (21-43) overall. They also made 17-of-23 (74%) free throw attempts.

Carter Cresap scored a game high 22 points, making 6-of-9 3’s on the day. Josh Jeziorski had 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, Jensen Beachy scored 14 points and dished out 5 assists, and Finn Diggins added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Holy Family Catholic was led by Jacob Konz with 21 points. They shot 40% (19-47) from the field and made 9-of-21 (43%) 3-pointers.

Perham will host Heart O’ Lakes Conference foes Barnesville on Tuesday and Hawley on Thursday, before traveling to Thief River Falls for a non-conference matchup on Friday night.
