Ella Van Kempen added 11 points for the lady Knights.

Allison Marso and Hailie Johnson were in double figures for the Battlers with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Hannah Scherr finished with 9 points and Grace VanErp had 8 points and 7 assists.

“We had a tough night against a very good WCA team,” said Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso. “I was pleased with how our girls battled against the pressure from the Knights, but we just didn’t have the depth to go against it all night. Early on our shots didn’t fall and we found ourselves behind at the half, 34-21. In the second half, their pressure really got to us and things got away from us. We did some things well, especially in the middle of the first period. Grace did a nice job attacking their pressure, but she just wore out as the game went on. I am really proud of the effort from the girls tonight, but the Knights were just too tough and too deep on the bench.”
