Perham led 32-30 at the half and also received 20 points from Josh Jeziorski and 14 from Finn Diggins. The Vikings were led by Hayden Christenson's 18 points, and McHale Korf added 10.

"We were pleased with the grit our guys played with tonight against a very good Perham team," Vikings head coach John Gullingsrud said. "We battled back from an early fourteen point deficit to get the game within two at the half. Then we scored the first seven points of the second half to take a five point lead before Perham went on a 16-0 run to take control of the game. We can't have a stretch like that if we want a chance to be there at the end."

Perham moved to 14-1 overall on the season and 7-0 in the HOL, while Pelican Rapids dropped to 5-8 overall and 1-5 in the HOL.
