The Henning Hornets remained undefeated on the season as they ran their winning streak to fourteen games on Saturday with an 80-52 win over Battle Lake in Henning.

"We played well at moments and showed we can run or keep up with a really good team," reported Battle Lake Head Coach CJ Peeters.  "We had 26 turnovers and gave up 16 offensive boards.  That's a lot of possessions to give away.  We have proven time and time again that we can play at a high level, we need to eliminate the mental errors and carelessness with passes and possessions.  When we buy into the system and stay consistent it will be fun.  They are a tough, tough team and they adjusted in the second half and out worked us."

Riley Leabo led Battle Lake with 14 points in the game and Parker Fraki led Henning with 23 points.

Battle Lake (4-8) has a home game Tuesday night against Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley.
