Trojans Come Up Short Against D-G-F

The Barnesville Trojans battled back from a 37-25 halftime deficit but their comeback attempt came up short as they lost to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 78-72 in Barnesville on Friday night.

D-G-F shot 45% (27-59) and Barnesville made 42% (26-61) of their field goal attempts. D-G-F won the battle of the boards 38-36 and the Rebels scored 16 points off 17 Barnesville turnovers.

The Trojans were led by Hunter Zenzen (14 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds) and Adam Tonsfeldt (13 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds). Grant InnigerKellen Hinszand Sam Askegaard each contributed 9 points.

Drew Coalwell scored 17 of his game high 21 points in the second half to lead the Rebels. He made 9-of-10 free throws in the game. Aiden Leach contributed 18 points and Tanner Tahran chipped in with 13.

Barnesville (7-3) will travel to Crookston on Tuesday night.
