"We struggled shooting the ball and Wheaton played hard," commented Battle Lake Head Coach CJ Peeters.  "We didn't do a great job of taking care of the ball with close to twenty turnovers that were a result of our being careless.  We didn't have the competitive edge we needed on a night where we needed it to get us through some shooting woes."

Brady Scholten led the Battlers with twelve points and two players, Riley Leaboand Nick VanErp added 11 points apiece.

Matthew Thielen led the Warriors with 15 points and Logan Birchem scored 14.

Battle Lake (4-7) will play at Henning on Saturday night.
