Yellowjackets Bury Hornets Behind 63% Shooting

The Perham boys basketball team hit 63% of their field goal attempts on Friday night, including 56% (14-25) of their three-pointers, and buried 19-of-21 free throws as they dominated the Frazee Hornets 107-42 in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference game in Perham.

The Yellowjackets placed six players in double figures, led by 22 points from Jensen Beachy. Beachy also had a team high 5 steals and added six assists. Elijah Morris scored 18 points, making 6-of-7 treys, Finn Diggins contributed 15 points and 5 rebounds, Carter Cresap had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists, Josh Jeziorski finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists, and Charlie Rasmussen scored 10 points, dishing out a team high 7 assists, and had 4 steals.

Frazee made 39.5% (17-43) of their shots from the floor. They were led by Vincent Helmers and Jack Courneya with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Perham (12-1) has won eleven straight games. They will travel to Pelican Rapids on Thursday.
