"It was a hard fought, competitive game," commented Head Coach John Holstenof Ashby.  "We were able to build a working margin toward the end by making some free throws.  The Rockets played harder than we did in the first half.  We did a much better job of matching their intensity level in the second."

Leaders for Underwood were Krosby Aasness with 17 points and Canaan Kuglerwith 13.  Braden Thorson added 8 points for the Rockets.

"I couldn't be more proud of the way we played against a solid Ashby team," said Underwood Head Coach Evan Meece.  "We came ready to play and left it all on the court.  Our intensity and effort was great the whole game.  We limited our turnovers and did a really nice job on the glass the entire game.  If we get a couple bounces our way, the outcome could have been different.  We're going to build off the way we played tonight moving forward to the rest of the season."

The Arrows (8-3) host the Frazee Hornets Tuesday night.

Underwood (2-10) suffered their fifth straight loss.  They will play at Hillcrest on Thursday night.
