Perham Boys Shoot 67% to Defeat Nuggets 81-61

The Perham boys basketball team blistered the nets on Tuesday night in Hawley shooting 67% (35-52) as a team, making 76.5% (26-34) of their two-point field goals and 50% (9-18) of their three-pointers to record an 81-61 victory over the Nuggets.

Finn Diggins made 10-of-14 shots from the floor and scored 21 points.  Diggins added 9 rebounds and 3 assists.  Jensen Beachy made 9-of-16 shots, scoring 19 points.  Beachy also distributed 7 asissts on the night. Josh Jeziorski scored 15 points, pulled down 5 rebounds, dished out 5 assists and came up with 2 steals.  Carter Cresap and Elijah Morris added 11 points apiece.

Hawley was led by 17 points from Jayden Carlisle and Jacob Vetter.  Noah Gladfinished with 11 points.  The Nuggets shot 45.5% (25-55) as a team.

The win was the tenth in a row for the Yellowjackets who are now 11-1.  They will host Frazee on Friday night.
