The Wheaton-Herman-Norcross Warriors used a huge first half to defeat the home team Ashby Arrows by a score of 63-47 on Thursday night. The Warriors earned their margin of victory by outscoring the Arrows 34-18 by halftime while the teams played to a 29-29 draw in the second half.

The Arrows started out cold again trailing early by a score of 2-12, but from that point forward showed improvement. However, it wasn’t enough to overcome the slow start.

Despite the loss, two Arrow teammates put in strong performances. Kalista Aamotachieved a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Josey Ness scored a team high 19 points. Courtney Koefod also finished in double digits with 10 points.
