Senior Matthew Johnson had another big game for the Fergus Falls Otters on Saturday morning, scoring 24 points, dishing out 7 assists and coming up with 4 steals as the Otters posted a 67-41 win over the Lower Brule Sioux at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The Otters shot 46% (29-63) from the field and made 7-of-20 (35%) from 3-point range. Brock Kotschevar hit a pair of 3's and finished with 8 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Ashwin Stratton added 13 points and 2 steals, and Dominic Aguilar had 6 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Lower Brule was led by Shane Sazue with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The Sioux shot just 30.4% (17-56) from the field.
Fergus Falls (7-5) will play at Sartell on Tuesday night.
