Otter Girls Blank Northern Lakes 3-0

The Fergus Falls girls hockey team skated to a 3-0 victory over Northern Lakes on Thursday night, improving their season record to 14-5 and their winning streak to three games.

 

Less than two minutes into the game the Otters drew first blood when Piper Andrews scored from Maddie Hulter and Gabby Brimhall. With 2:21 left in the opening period Sophie Rausch scored to make it 2-0 with an assist from Chloe Nelson. Rausch and Jade Zierden assisted on a goal by Ellie Andersen 35 seconds into the second period to give the Otters a 3-0 lead. The rest of the game was scoreless.

Fergus Falls will play at Detroit Lakes at 6:00pm Saturday.
