Perham Beats Barnesville for Eighth Straight Win

Perham hit 57.4% (27-47) of their field goal attempts on Tuesday night in Barnesville as they handed the Trojans a 67-49 loss. 

Josh Jeziorski made 11-of-16 shots from the floor and led the Yellowjackets with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Finn Diggins was 7-of-10 from the field, scoring 17 points. He also had 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Jensen Beachycontributed 15 points and 4 rebounds.

Barnesville was led by Adam Tonsfeldt with 11 points, 4 assists and 2 steals. Grant Inniger added 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists, Kellen Hinsz had 7 points and 3 assists, and Hunter Zenzen finished with 7 points and 4 rebounds. 

"We took them out of a few things they do well, but Jeziorski got hot from outside and they were able to drive to the basket," said Barnesville Assistant Coach Tracy Hinsz.  "Perham is really a good team.  They play with a lot of confidence and they really put the clamps on us with their defensive intensity."

Perham won their eighth game in a row and is now 9-1 on the season. They will host Detroit Lakes on Thursday night. 

Barnesville is now 5-2. They will play Badger/Greenbush-Middle River on Friday and Warroad on Saturday in Glyndon.
