Perham Boys Post Seventh Straight Win

The Perham boys basketball team won for a seventh straight time when they beat East Grand Forks 79-61 on Saturday afternoon at 'The Hive' in Perham.  The Yellowjackets made 53.6% (30-56) of their field goal attempts and hit 13-of-18 free throws in the game.  They also took very good care of the ball with only 8 turnovers in the game.

Josh Jeziorski had a big day, making 13-of-20 shots from the floor and 4-of-5 free throws to finish with a game high 33 points.  He also had 7 rebounds and 3 assists.  Finn Diggins scored 16 points, recorded 3 blocks and led the Yellowjackets with 8 rebounds.  Carter Cresap dished out 6 assists and scored 14 points, and Charlie Rasmussen had 11 points, making 4-of-5 field goal attempts.  Perham had a 33-22 advantage on the boards.

East Grand Forks was led by Nathan Willet and Sam Votava with 15 points and 6 rebounds apiece.

Perham (8-1) will play at Barnesville on Tuesday night.
