"Defensively, we played a pretty decent game," said Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland.  "The girls did a really great job of anticipating and working together.  We had a lot of easily missed opportunities on the offensive end, especially early.  With the Christmas break and our recent weather issues it took a little while to knock the rust off.  Hot shooting can come and go, but these girls make up for that with some great defensive play."

Kayla Rocholl (22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals), Brooke Hovland (16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals), Ally Johnson (7 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals) and Morgan Evavold (8 points) led the lady Rockets in the victory.

Underwood (8-1) will play at Ortonville on Friday.
