Breckenridge defeated Frazee by a score of 97-54 in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference boys basketball contest on Thursday night in Breckenridge. The halftime score was 54-28 in favor of the Cowboys.

Leading scorers for the Cowboys were Noah Christensen with 29, Caden McGough with 15, Hunter Feigum with 13, and Sam Bakken with 10. Leading rebounders were Christensen with 14 and McGough with 6. Christensen added 8 assists and McGough had 7 assists. McGough also led the team with 8 steals.

"We played truly unselfish basketball tonight had tallied up 30 assists on the game,” said Assistant Coach Derek Grahn. “When everyone on your team is willing to make the extra pass to set up a teammate, it really is a fun brand of basketball to watch. Seniors Sam Bakken and Caden McGough brought a ton of energy on the defensive end and helped set the stage for a solid defensive effort. We look forward to having some time off over the weekend and then we travel down to the Hoop City Classic in Mitchell, South Dakota to take on some high quality opponents."

Breckenridge finishes their pre-Christmas schedule with a record of 3-2.
