Noah Koep nailed five 3-point field goals to lead Parkers Prairie with 15 points on Thursday night in Battle Lake as the Panthers turned back the Battlers, 64-41.

Travis Yohnke and Alex Koep added 12 and 11 points, respectively, as Parkers Prairie improved their season record to 5-1.

Battle Lake was led by Riley Leabo with 16 points and Brennan Amundson with 10.

“We continue to throw the ball away and had 20-plus turnovers in a game that was defended in the half court the majority of the game,” noted Battle Lake Head Coach CJ Peeters. “We are hesitant on our offense and settle for tough shots. We need to find our groove and become fluid on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.”

Battle Lake (1-4) will travel to Wheaton for a game next Thursday.
