DGF led 39-36 at the half and also got 13 points from Nathan Leitner and 11 from Tanner Tahran. Hayden Christenson led the Vikings with 21 points, and both McHale Korf and Logan Fahje reached double figures with 10. 

"We were pleased with the way we started out in this one as we were able to hold the lead for the majority of the first half," stated head coach John Gullingsrud. "The last four minutes of the first half and the first three minutes of the second half was where DGF was able to take control of the game. Our guys got physically and mentally tired it seemed as we were not sharp offensively during that stretch and we were unable to string some stops together on defense." 

DGF improves to 3-0 with the win, while the Vikings dropped to 1-2.
