Charger Girls Wiin at Home Against CGB

The Brandon-Evansville girls basketball team led 14-12 at the half on Monday night in Brandon. The Chargers outscored C-G-B 24-15 in the second half to post a 38-27 victory over the Wolverines. 

 

“Similar story with offensive struggles early, but our defense came up big and we were able to hit some shots in the 2nd half to pull away,” reported Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Sam Lange. “We did a great job finishing the game and had some great play from our bench once again.” 

Brandon-Evansville placed two players in double figures with Madison Quinnscoring 13, including a trio of three-pointers, and Mikenna Pattrin scored a dozen, going 4-for-4 from the free throw line. B-E hit 7-of-9 free throw opportunities. 

The Chargers shot 37% (13-35) from the field and had 19 rebounds and 13 steals. Pattrin led the team with 5 rebounds and 3 assists, and Jacobson had a team high 4 steals. 

Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley was led by ten points from Lora BotkerTylaina Issendorf added 7 and Emma Botker contributed 6 points.
