Leading scorers for the Cowboys were Noah Christensen with 16, Jacob Marsh with 15, and Tyson Piechowski with 12. Leading rebounders were Christensen with 7 and Caden McGough with 5. McGough also added 6 assists.
"We started off slow and struggled a bit defensively,” said Breckenridge Assistant Coach Derek Grahn. “Wadena made a lot of shots and we didn't execute as we should. After a few halftime adjustments, we came out much better and played with the defensive intensity we have come to expect. We have a week off now as we prepare to play Perham next Friday. It should be a fun game for December and we look forward to seeing a lot of green shirts in the crowd."
