“Henning came out ready to go in the first half and we just weren't as ready to play,” commented B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “They hit some shots early and it tested our guys composure. We had too many turnovers and our defense wasn't what it needed to be against a quality team like Henning. Our second half was much better and was more like the team I expect us to be this year. Give Henning credit, they played very well.”
The Chargers were led by Titus Fuller and Marshall Riedel with 8 points apiece and Keagan Schiele added 7 points and had 3 steals. Tanner Bitzan had a team high 7 rebounds and dished out 2 assists. Brandon-Evansville shot just 28% (14-49) from the field.
The Chargers will host Browerville on Thursday night.
