“We had a couple of girls unable to play and we got into foul trouble, so our depth really helped out tonight,” said Head Coach Sam Lange of Brandon-Evansville. ”We had great hustle and played really good defense, allowing only nine points in the first half. Henning pressured really well the second half and we struggled with it at first. We were able to settle down and hold on to secure the win.”
Mikenna Pattrin had 10 points and Sara Jacobson scored nine points to lead B-E.
Abbi Eckhoff led Henning with 9 points and Kylie Frederick added 7 points.
Brandon-Evansville (1-1) will open Little Eight Conference play against Hillcrest on Tuesday night in Fergus Falls.
