Sophomore Adam Tonsfeldt (8.5 ppg, 4.5 apg, 2.5 spg) and junior Hunter Zenzen(8 ppg, 5.5 rpg) are returning starters for the Barnesville boys basketball team. Both players were All-Conference in the Heart O' Lakes last season and will lead a team made up of multi-sports athletes, the majority of whom are coming off a state runner-up football season.
Seniors Jason Henrickson (3.3 ppg, 2.5 rpg), Grant Inniger, Brooks Martinson(5.4 ppg, 2 rpg), Kellen Hinsz and Sam Askegaard (3.4 ppg) all have varsity experience.
"The returning players have all been through the routine and know exactly what to expect during the season," said Head Coach Todd Henrickson, now in his 22nd season as head coach. "Consistency on the offensive end will be a key for us. The kids we have returning play hard and play well together. We expect to compete well each night we step on the floor."
