The team that is at the top of the Class A QRF Rankings, the BOLD Warriors, eliminated the Ottertail Central Bulldogs in the State quarterfinals on Saturday.  The Warriors handed OTC their only loss of the season with a 50-6 beating in Alexandria.

BOLD had 226 of their 264 rushing yards in the first half, and all fourteen of their first downs came on the ground.  They were led by Dawson Vosika with 136 yards on 11 carries.  Gavin Vosika ran for 99 yards on 14 attempts.

Gavin Vosika scored on a 3 yard touchdown run in the first quarter and Braeden Tersteeg added the extra point kick to give BOLD a 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter BOLD put 29 points on the board, starting with a fourth down pass from Jordan Sagedahl to Lucas Ryan that covered four yards and was followed by a Segedahl two point conversion pass to Gavin Vosika, making it 15-0.  Hayden Tersteeg scored on 11 yard run and added the two point conversion run to give BOLD a 23-0 lead and they increased it to 30-0 on a ten yard TD run by Sagedahl on a quarterback draw, followed by a Braeden Versteeg PAT kick.  A 61-yard interception return for a TD by Ryan ended the first half with BOLD leading 36-0.

Fullback Timothy Peppel of the Warriors scored on the first possession of the second half on a 2 yard run and Braeden Tersteeg added the extra point which made the score 43-0.  A second BOLD interception set up a five-play, 66-yard scoring drive which was capped by John Burman's one yard run and a Braeden Tersteeg kick to increase the Warriors lead to 50-0 after three quarters.

The only OTC TD came when Nick VanErp connected with Blake Wallevand on a 50-yard pass play.  The Bulldogs threatened earlier in the second half when Isaac Fisher went 56 yards with a pass but was stopped inside the five yard line and OTC couldn't punch the ball into the end zone.

The Bulldogs were held to just fifty rushing yards and 167 total yards in the game.  Austin Wensauer ran for 26 yards on 12 carries and VanErp completed 6-of-13 passes for 117 yards.  Fisher had 3 receptions for 67 yards and Wallevand hauled in two passes for 53 yards.
