"This years team has a wealth of experience as it graduated only two senior starters from our very successful team of a year ago," said Robb Moser, now in his eighteenth year as head coach of the Yellowjackets.

Three wrestlers who return placed third in the state in their respective weighth classes last season.  They are seniors Ty Moser and Zach Peterson, and junior Owen Werner.  Moser also took third in 2017.  Junior Dawson Kellogg was fourth in the state in 2017 and senior Leighton Rach placed sixth during his sophomore season of 2016.

Moser, who will be assisted by Wayne Werner, Clint Moser, Kyle Trout and Mac Stoll, says Detroit Lakes, Pierz and Thief River Falls are the top challengers in Section 8AA, while Frazee will be the main competition in the Heart O' Lakes Conference.
