"Unfortunately, it was a very frustrating and slow start to the night," said Head Coach Debi Foss of the Comets. "We struggled to get our game going. Parkers Prairie did a great job of attacking the ball at us. I'm proud my girls were able to come back in the third set and work hard to persevere. We had a lot of attacks but just couldn't get them down. We're ready for a few days off from games to rest a little, heal some injuries, and get a chance to reset a bit."
The Comets were ledy by Hanne Brennhaug (8 kills, 9 digs, 17 set assists), Alida Viksoy (8 kills, 9 digs, 3 ace serves), Olivia Foss (6 kills, 13 digs), Lydia Juhl (4 kills, 9 digs) and Mack Foss (17 digs, 5 ace serves).
Hillcrest will play in the Hancock Tournament on Saturday.
